Turmi - Omo Valley
Getting to Turmi is well-earned because the road to get there is truly rough—your brain needs a few minutes to settle back into place once you step foot in the village. This is where many Hamer people gather, as the government provides and distributes food supplies for isolated communities in this part of Ethiopia. I was wandering around the village, close to the river, when this woman caught my eye—a quick encounter, a touch of shyness, and a snapshot where the mix of materials and textures really brings out her stunning, tribal beauty!
