Myanmar
aptivated by the story of the last women with face tattoos, we ventured into the Chin region, now inaccessible due to war. As always, I like to get to know the real life of the places I visit. We walked on dirt streets where life still happens as it did in our countries before, with children freely playing, tending to goats, parents cooking or washing clothes outside their homes. A group of children came to analyze these white people, sweating rivers, with shoes and a camera in hand. This girl wearing Thanaka (natural cosmetic) looked at me exactly as she appears in the photo; I can't even describe the energy emanating from her, but it will stay with me forever in my mind and on the photographic paper.
